#SCOREMORE Challenge winners head to Cologne

From the biggest clubs in world handball to the smallest courts in the Isle of Man, video entries for the #SCOREMORE Challenge, powered by VELUX, came in all shapes and sizes.

The month-long campaign began with Veszprem star Laszlo Nagy’s attempt to hit the crossbar as often as possible with six shots, two from six metres, two from nine and the final pair from the halfway line.

The Hungarian star managed three from six, nominated three fellow professionals to try beat him and so it began.

A number of star players from around Europe tried their luck, even top women players such as Larvik’s Thea Mork and Katarina Bulatovic from Buducnost showed us what they could do.

Entire amateur clubs took the challenge together and participant’s ages ranged from 51-year-old Bruce to 8-month-old Theodor, who had a little help from New Zealand international Ryan Roselli.

Handball enthusiasts from 21 different nations sent in their videos, but two entries from Iceland and Malta caught the eye for their creativity.

Aron and Dadi Laxdal were the early favourites with many; their acrobatic video was seen almost 300,000 times when posted on the EHF Champions League Facebook page.
