LANXESS arena expecting its best year to date

Every year since 2010, 20,000 handball fans have flocked to Cologne’s LANXESS arena for the VELUX EHF FINAL4.

This year will be no different, with Europe’s top four club teams and their fans arriving for the event on 30-31 May, but that is not all that the multi-purpose arena has in store for 2015.

LANXESS arena has released a stunning line-up for the year with the likes of Taylor Swift, U2, BoardDays and the Amphi Festival to look forward to. See the full list of events here.

“I can safely say that we are about to enjoy the best year of concerts in the arena’s history,” says Stefan Löcher, Managing Director of ARENA Management GmbH, who goes on to state that 1.5 million visitors to the arena in 2014 is a clear indication that attractive events are being held.

The VELUX EHF FINAL4 is already looking forward to welcoming 40,000 fans over the two-day event to Cologne this May.
