Beach handball delegate passes away

The EHF has the sad duty to report the death of the EHF beach handball delegate Dmitry Leonidovich Zhiznevsky from Russia on 17 December. He was 61 years of age.

An executive committee member of the Handball Federation of Russia, with responsiblity for beach handball, he was last active at an EHF event during the Champions Beach Handball Cup in Gran Canaria at the beginning of November 2014.

The EHF would like to express its deepest condolances to the family, friends and colleagues of Dmitry Leonidovich Zhiznevsky at this difficult time.
