Seven more teams for Last 16 to be found this weekend

Seven more teams for the Last 16 of the Women's Challenge Cup are going to be found this weekend, when Round 3 finishes with three double headers and four second legs of ties started last weekend.

One participant for the Last 16 will have to be found later, though, as the tie between KHF Kosova from Kosovo and RK Zelina from Croatia has had to be postponed due to lack of visa for the Kosovar team.

One double header which will take place, though, is in Ardesen, Turkey, where Ardesen GSK, who reached the quarter-final of the competition last season, are meeting Energa AZS Koszalin from Poland who made it as far as Round 3 in the EHF Cup last year.

A further double header is being carried out in Greece, where the return match from Friday's first leg between Amyntas Amyntaiou and H.C. Holon from Israel is being played on Sunday night.

The last double header will not be decided until Monday. In Serbia, WHC Knjaz Milos are hosting the two games against Tresjnevka from Croatia, with the first leg on Sunday evening and the second on Monday afternoon.

A quite interesting second leg of a tie, which started last weekend, may be expected in Bordeaux, where the semi-finalists of last season, Union Mios Biganos-Begles have a 29:28 lead with them from their visit to the Netherlands and Schuler Afbouwgroep/DOS. The decision will fall in the Salle Jean Dauguet Sunday afternoon.
