'Hold your hands so high' becomes official song of Women's EHF EURO 2014

A little less than two months out of the championship handball fans across the world can now sing and dance along to the tunes that will be played in all six venues in December when the Women's EHF EURO 2014 comes to Hungary and Croatia.

Performers of the official song 'Hold your hands so high' are Hungarian band 'New Level Empire'.

"On the one hand this song is for the players and their fight for survival on the court," says the band's frontman 'Zola' (Zoltan Szilvester Ujvari).

"On the other hand it is also for the fans. We wanted to come up with something that is inspiring, positive, something you can party to.

"Music has the most energy. If rhythm, melody, and the energy of the lyrics meet, anything can happen."

The music video was filmed in the handball arena in the city of Erd. It shows a lot of handball action but also the band performing in the arena.

The song was officially presented today (9 October) by New Level Empire at a live concert in Budapest.
