Manaskov and Stojkovic banned for one match

The EHF Court of Handball has released two decisions following disciplinary proceedings against the players Rastko Stojkovic (HC Meshkov Brest) and Dejan Manaskov (HC Metalurg).

Both players were directly disqualified ten minutes before the break of their Round 2 match of the VELUX EHF Champions League (28:24) on Saturday 4 October.

The two players will be sanctioned with a one match suspension for unsportsmanlike conduct based on the EHF List of Penalties. They are therefore not entitled to play the next official EHF competition match of their respective clubs.

For Stojkovic, this mean he will not play the home match against THW Kiel on Thursday (9 October) evening, while Manaskov will not be eligible for the Saturday match against HC PPD Zagreb taking place in Croatia.

Appeals to the EHF Court of Appeal shall not have any suspensive effects.
