Qualification tournaments for Women's 17 EHF EURO 2015 drawn in Dublin

33 European handball teams can start preparing for the Women's 17 EHF EURO 2015 Qualification as the qualification tournaments were drawn at the EHF Congress in Dublin on Friday.

The teams were drawn to six groups with four teams each and three groups with three teams each.

From the groups with four teams the two top-ranked nations will qualify, only the first ranked team qualifies from the groups with three teams each.

FYR Macedonia as organisers are already qualified.

The first right to organise the qualification tournaments was drawn to Switzerland, Faroe Islands, Georgia, Kosovo, Hungary, Moldova, Italy, Croatia, Romania.

According to decisions by the Court of Handball Netherlands, Portugal and Ukraine do no have the right to organise a qualification tournament.

The participation of Kosovo is subject to the congress decision of granting full membership to the Handball Association of Kosovo.

The qualification tournaments are played from 20 to 22 March 2015. The Women's 17 EHF EURO next year takes place from 13 to 23 August 2015.
