LANXESS arena remains Germany’s most visited venue

Just like last year, Cologne’s LANXESS arena, home of the VELUX EHF FINAL4 since 2010, sits atop of the ranking for arenas in Germany published by Stadionwelt Business.

In the overall standings, LANXESS arena clearly leads with 914,408 visitors, followed by O2 World Berlin (678,239) in second place and O2 World Hamburg (595,682) in third.

Fourth in the rankings is the SAP-Arena in Mannheim, with 426,114 visitors in the time between 1 January and 30 June 2014.

Handball is played at all four venues. Besides the VELUX EHF FINAL4 in Cologne, HSV Hamburg, Füchse Berlin and Rhein-Neckar Löwen all play, at least occasionally, their home games at the respective arenas.
