Zomimak coach sanctioned

The EHF Court of Handball has reached a decision following disciplinary proceedings against the HC Zomimak-M coach, Marjanco Andonov.

The coach displayed an aggressive behaviour towards the EHF referees and criticised their performance after the first leg match of the 2014/15 Men's EHF Cup Qualification Round 1: Górnik Zabrze (POL) vs. HC Zomimak-M (MKD), played on 6 September 2014 in Poland.

He will be suspended for the participation in EHF club competitions for one (1) match for unsportsmanlike conduct, and he will consequently not be entitled to take part in the second leg match taking place on 13 September 2014 in Strumica, FYR Macedonia.

An appeal may be filed by the player and/or the club within seven days, but shall not have any suspensive effect.
