Dublin prepares for 12th EHF Congress

All eyes will be on Dublin on 19 and 20 September 2014, as Europe’s top handball officials and representatives of the EHF’s member federations arrive in the Irish capital for the 12th EHF Congress.

Playing host for the first time will be the Irish Olympic Handball Association, which has been preparing for the past 18 months for the arrival of over 100 delegates, members of the EHF Executive, Commission members and office staff.

A three-day programme includes meetings of the EHF Executive and technical commissions ahead of the start of the Congress on Friday, 19 September.

Key decisions will be made by the EHF’s highest body on the awarding of the EHF EURO Final Tournament events in 2018 and 2020 in addition to dealing with motions from the member federations at EHF.

A detailed preview of the event as well as profiles of the bids for the EHF’s top national team events will be published in the run-up to the event in Dublin.
