Handball stars take on the Ice Bucket Challenge
A number of players and clubs around Europe have joined the social media phenomenon aimed at raising awareness of Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and raising money for associated charities.
Former EHF Champions League winner Stefan Kretzschmar got the party started in the handball community with his attempt.
Since Kretzche's video, the Rhein-Neckar Löwen boys have been challenging each other, with Oliver Roggisch particularly enthusiastic about throwing ice on his teammates and himself.
.
Vardar's Serbian superstar Andrea Lekic was keen to show how it's done right.
However, it's the team efforts which seem to have taken over elsewhere in Europe, first of all with the well-coordinated attempt by Byasen Trondheim, which you can see here, after which they challenged fellow Norwegians Larvik and the 2011 EHF Champions League winners were well up to the task.
Even VELUX EHF Champions League qualification hopefuls Alpla HC Hard gave it a go, perfect preparation for FC Porto in two week's time.
The gauntlet has been thrown down to the best clubs and players in Europe. Time will tell if they can do better and continue to raise money, which you can help with by finding your local ALS/MND association here and donating.
