Andreas Nilsson leaves Hamburg, joins MKB-MVM Veszprem
Swedish international Andreas Nilsson leaves German side HSV Handball with immediate effect and joins Hungarian champions and this year's VELUX EHF Champions League participants MKB-MVM Veszprem.
The Hamburg-based club confirmed the transfer on its official website on Tuesday.
"The two years I played in Hamburg did not only make their mark on me from a sports' point of view, but also from a personal point. That's why it wasn't an easy decision," said Nilsson.
"I achieved a lot with the club and now I'm looking forward to a new challenge, but I will always remember the club and its fans."
In 2013 Nilsson won the VELUX EHF Champions League with Hamburg. In the two seasons he played for the German side he took to the court 92 times, scoring 159 goals.
