Motor Zaporozhye confirmed as qualification participants

The European Handball Federation has confirmed the club of HC Motor Zaporozhye (UKR) as a participant of the VELUX EHF Champions Qualification Tournament 3, which will take place in Hard (AUT) on 5-6 September 2014.

The winner of this qualification tournament will go to Group D (position 6) of the 2014/15 VELUX EHF Champions League and will start its playing schedule with an away match in Szeged (HUN) in Round 1 followed by a home game vs. Dunkerque (FRA) in Round 2.

In case Motor win the qualification tournament in Hard and qualify for the Group Phase, they will play their home matches in Kiev (Palace of Sport). This venue is confirmed by the EHF.

This decision of the EHF regarding the status of HC Motor Zaporozhye remains a subject for an ongoing observation and the EHF reserves the right to reconsider this decision at any time whenever the development of the overall situation in Ukraine makes it necessary.
