All but one European team reaches Last 16 at Women's Youth World Championship

12 out of 16 teams to reach the first knockout stage at the Women's Youth World Championship in FYR Macedonia come from Europe.

Hungary, Denmark, Romania and Montenegro have produced the most promising performances so far with all four teams remaining unbeaten in the group phase. The only team not to make it are FYR Macedonia who now play for the President's Cup.

The European participants' hottest non-European rivals are Korea and Brazil who finished the group phase ranked first and second in Group A with five wins from five matches for Korea and four wins from five matches for Brazil.

The Last 16 matches start today and are played in Ohrid and Strumica. A live stream is available for both venues (Ohrid live stream / Strumica live stream).
