World Championship 2014 draw streamed live

The draw for the World Championship 2015 in Qatar will be streamed live on the event's official website, http://www.qatarhandball2015.com/.

The event takes place on 20 July at 21.30 hrs (local time) at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Doha, Qatar.

Among the 24 participants 14 teams from Europe vie for the world championship trophy. They have been seeded in the following pots:

Pot 1: Spain (defending champions), France (EHF EURO champions), Denmark, Croatia 

Pot 2: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland, Sweden, Slovenia 

Pot 3: Russia, Qatar (hosts), FYR Macedonia, Algeria

Pot 4: Austria, Argentina, Belarus, Czech Republic 

Pot 5: Tunisia, Egypt, Brazil, Bahrain 

Pot 6: Iran, United Arab Emirates, Chile, Germany 

These teams will be drawn into four groups of six teams each. The first four teams of each group then qualify for the Last 16.

The World Championship 2015 takes place from 15 January to 1 February 2015. All four venues are located in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
