RoboKeeper a hit at Partille Cup

The Partille Cup, the largest youth handball tournament in the world, took place on 30 June to 5 July in Gothenburg, Sweden and welcomed the VELUX EHF Champions League as a partner for the first time.

One of the many features of the new partnership was bringing RoboKeeper to the event, which grabbed the attention of thousands of players, coaches and parents.

RoboKeeper was challenged by fans at the VELUX EHF FINAL4 in Cologne for the last two years, but now it was the turn of the talented young handball players.

As one of several activities offered at the Heden Center, the near unbeatable goalkeeper was for many the highlight between the participants own handball matches.

"The RoboKeeper was on everyone's lips. Plenty of people were asking the information desk where this keeper was to be found. It was a really big success,” said Fredrik Andersson, Partille Cup General Secretary, who summarised the partnership’s first year.

RoboKeeper can rest easy after bringing an end to a week of tireless efforts and countless saves  at the Partille Cup and will be back to face the next batch of shooters.
