European Masters throw off in Prague

The grands seigneurs and grandes dames of handball once more have a chance to showcase their skills when the European Masters Handball Championship throw off in Czech Republic's capital, Prague, from 13 to 15 June 2014.

The hosting team is Slavia Prague seniors, a squad that consists of many - including former top - players who have been spending a lot of years in the Slavia jersey. They have been regular participants at European Masters tournament.

There are 58 teams from all over Europe, 44 in the men's competition, 14 in the women's competition, competing in five different age categories at this year's event: Men 35+, Men 45+ and Men 50+ as well as Womem 33+ and Women 43+.

The group matches take place on Friday and Saturday, placement matches and the finals take place on Saturday and Sunday.
