Teaching material for beach handball referees released

Following joint meetings with the International Handball Federation’s Beach Handball Working Group, the EHF’s Beach Handball Commission together with the Working Group have now released a new online teaching tool for beach handball referees.

Several clips, all recorded at the European Beach Handball Championships 2013 in Randers, have been combined and the material will be guidelines for officiating matches at the Younger Age Category Men’s and Women’s European Beach Handball Championships as well as at the World Championship 2014.

The referee guidelines cover topics such as six-metre throws, inflight and spin shots, punishments, technical fouls, shoot-out and advantage situations.

For every topics there are several clips available to explain the different guidelines.

The entire material is publicly available and can be watched online.
