Fifth Sold Out Award for the VELUX EHF FINAL4

For the fifth time in a row, the LANXESS arena awarded the European Handball Federation with the Sold Out Award for the VELUX EHF FINAL4.

In the award ceremony during the half-time of 2014's final, Stefan Löcher, Managing Director of the LANXESS arena who handed over the certificate, addressed above all the 20.000 spectators in the sold out arena. "You're the greatest. You're a wonderful audience and it's really great to have you here."

Peter Vargo, Managing Director of EHF Marketing, and David Szlezak, VELUX EHF FINAL4 Manager, received the prize for the world's biggest indoor sports event.

Also Peter Vargo focused on the fans in his speech. "The VELUX EHF FINAL4 2014 is almost over, but for the VELUX EHF FINAL4 2015, there are 5,000 tickets sold already. Thank you very much in the name of 1,000 people working all year long to make this event happen!" said Vargo and thus, stressed the organisation behind the event.

The opening shows and exciting handball matches were reason enough for 5,000 people to secure their tickets for next year already while attending the 2014 edition of the event. Thus, signs are pointing to another Sold Out Award in 2015. The official ticket sale starts online at www.ehfFINAL4.com on Monday 2 June 2014.
