Debbie Schippers performs live at the VELUX EHF FINAL4

Since last year’s VELUX EHF FINAL4 many handball fans have heard about ‘The Voice of Germany’ as four of the TV music show’s participants, Jenna Hoff, Ole Soul, Nathalie Dorra and Rob Fowler, took centre stage at the 2013 event.

They are followed in 2014 by Debbie Schippers who impressed fans and the jury alike at last year’s edition of 'The Voice of Germany'. Schippers will be part of the VELUX EHF FINAL4’s unique entertainment programme on Sunday, 1 June.

The 17-year-old is much more than just a young singer. She was just 11 when she sang as part of a band for the first time – ever since music has become her life.

At the age of 15 she made first public appearance as a singer and not long after she took part in last year’s edition of the TV show 'The Voice of Germany' where she reached the final and eventually came fourth in the end.

At the VELUX EHF FINAL4 she will take her young career even another step further as she will perform in front of 20,000 fans at the LANXESS arena on Sunday, first on her own and then together with Rob Fowler, singer of the official VELUX EHF Champions League song 'Do it like us'.

Pictures of a mutual rehearsal will be available shortly on the EHF Champions League Facebook page.
