Venues and host cities confirmed for Women's EHF EURO 2014

Despite the qualification for the Women's EHF EURO 2014 being still underway, some first decisions regarding the final tournament from 7 to 21 December 2014 in Hungary and Croatia have already been made.

The group phase will be played in the Hungarian cities of Györ (Group A) and Debrecen (Group B) as well as in the Croatian cities of Varazdin (Group C) and Osijek (Group D).

Furthermore Hungary will play in Györ and Croatia will start their campaign in Varazdin, it was announced this week.

The tournament will then stay in Debrecen and move to Croatia's capital, Zagreb, for the main round.

The placement matches and the final will be played in the Papp Laszlo Sportarena in Budapest.

Hungary and Croatia will be joined by 14 teams - Montenegro, France, Russia and Norway have already qualified - at the final tournament. The final qualification rounds 5 and 6  will be played from 11 to 15 June 2014.
