OFFICIAL STATEMENT: Csurgo line player will miss his next two matches in the European club competitions
Two-match ban for Szöllösi
The EHF Court of Handball has reached a decision following disciplinary proceedings against the player Szabolcs Szöllösi from the Hungarian club of Csurgói KK.
The player hit an opponent in the neck during the last minute in the match of the 2013/14 Men’s EHF Cup Group Phase: Lugi HF (SWE) vs. Csurgói KK (HUN), which took place in Lund on 16 March 2014.
He will be sanctioned with a two-match suspension based in particular on article B. 2 of the EHF List of Penalties and 12.2 of the EHF Legal Regulations.
