All eyes on Berlin

The EHF Cup Group Phase is over and while nine teams said their farewell in the competition, seven are through to the next stage.

IFK Kristianstad's Johan Jepson hunting down his compatriot in Szeged's kit Jonas Källman. Pick's winger had more reason to smile after the game as his team won the Group C, while IFK are out.

The best scorer of Füchse Berlin Fredrik Petersen (35 goals) in action. Against pointless Hlohovec it was a "warming-up" game for foxes as they had already clinched the EHF Cup Finals berth in the penultimute round.

Montpellier's Mathieu Grebille escapes the Sporting's defence in a battle of two quarter-finalists.

Despite having no chance to secure a place in the quarter-finals Reale Ademar Leon lacked no motivation against the Group A winners from Lugi. Jose Carrillo flying towards the opponents' goal.

Instructions were clear enough for Hannover. "If we cannot make it, nor will they," Csaba Szücs points toward Csurgo team in the last European game for both teams.

The Csurgo coach Imre Vilmos could not believe his eyes how his players squandered both a promising lead and a quarter-final berth in Hannover in the second half.

Only honour was at stake for Presov in the last round. Yet still they managed to beat the last season's runners-up from Nantes.
