Knezevic banned for two games

The EHF Court of Handball has reached a decision following disciplinary proceedings against the player Milena Knezevic from RK Buducnost.

The player head-butted an opponent in the last minute of the Women's EHF Champions League match vs Györi Audi ETO KC on Sunday 9 March.

She will be supsended for the participation in the EHF club competitions for two (2) matches.

Milena Knezevic is therefore not entitled to participate in the 2013/14 Women’s EHF Champions League matches in which the club Buducnost will take part, respectively the match of the Main Round RK Krim Mercator vs. Buducnost taking place on March 15, 2014 and the semi-final of the Women's EHF FINAL4 taking place on May 3, 2014 in Budapest.

An appeal against the present decision shall not have any suspensive effects.
