Suspension for Vranjes

The EHF Court of Handball has reached a decision following disciplinary proceedings against the player Vladimir Vranjes from Bosnia Herzegovina.

The player kneed an opponent in the groin in the foutth minute in the match of the 2015 Men’s World Championship Qualification Europe: Bosnia Herzegovina vs Latvia, which took place in Bosnia Herzegovina.

He will be sanctioned with a two-match suspension based in particular on article B. 2 of the EHF List of Penalties and 12.2 of the EHF Legal Regulations.

An appeal to the EHF Court of Appeal shall not have any suspensive effects.
