Thessaloniki set to host ebt Finals

Following the first inspection at the end of January, Irinis' Village close to Thessaloniki, Greece, looks set to host the 2014 edition of the European Beach Handball Tour Finals.

EHF Officials visited the site of the Avant Garde Beach Handball Club from 27 to 28 January and met with the local organising committee.

Organisational matters from logistics to competition and infrastructure were discussed.

An event website is already in the making can be visitied at www.ebtfinals2014.gr. The site is expected to be fully functionable by the end of February.

10 men's and 10 women's teams will be eligible to play. A live stream will be available for at least all main court encounters.

This is the third time a Greek venue hosts the ebt Finals following Katerini in 2006 and Corfu in 2009.
