Last tickets for Belarus, Poland and Russia

Poland and Belarus celebrated first points on Friday at the EHF EURO 2014 as both countries clinched their presence in the main round Group II in Aarhus.

Despite the 22:24 defeat against Poland in Group C Russia also booked their stay in Aarhus sending the runners-up of the 2012 edition, Serbians home.

After Polish victory Serbia still had a chance to send Russia home instead of themselves, but they lost to France in the last match 28:31 which meant the end of campaign in Denmark.

France will take four points to Group II, while Poland will start with two and Russia with zero points.

These three countries will be accompanied by three qualifiers from Copenhagen – Croatia (4 points), Sweden (2) and Belarus with zero points.

Despite a massive support of roughly 2,000 Swedish fans in Brondby Arena in the race for the top spot of Group D Croatia beat Sweden 25:24 and will move to Aarhus with four points, while Sweden take two. Belarus have been awarded with the last place after they defeated Montenegro 29:23.
