Club media specialists to meet in Copenhagen

The EHF is to organise the first forum for professional club staff working with the media and in communications during the Men’s EHF European Championship in Denmark.

Taking place over two day on 17 and 18 January 2014 in the Danish capital, the event will focus on the challenges for clubs in engaging and interacting with fans through their communications and how they can better work with the media to reach as wide an audience as possible.

Keynote speakers from the world of sports media including former head of media relations and corporate PR at UEFA, Robert Faulkner, and Dietmar Gessner, journalist from Germany’s Sportsbild magazine will share their extensive experience and knowledge with participants.

The forum will coincide with the final matches of the Preliminary Round of EHF EURO 2014, including the top match between Croatia and Sweden, and participants will have the chance to tour the EHF EURO 2014 media facilities.
