President of Polish Handball Federation elected to Executive Committee of European Olympic Committees
Andrzej Krasnicki elected to EOC Executive
The European Olympic Committees (EOC) elected Andrzej Krasnicki to its Executive Committee at its 42nd General Assembly in Rome on 22 November 2013.
Krasnicki has been President of Polish Handball Federation since January 2006 as well as President of the Polish Olympic Committee since 2010. He has a long association with handball having himself been a player and coach.
The new EOC Executive Committee will serve until 2017. Ireland’s President Patrick Hickey was also re-elected President of the EOC.
The EOC is based in Rome, Italy, and represents the interests of 49 European National Olympic Committees. The organisation is responsible for events including the European Games and the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF).
