EHF EURO tickets sell as far as Singapore

With little less than seven weeks to go about 70 per cent of the tickets for the EHF EURO 2014 in Denmark have been sold to handball fans representing no less than 28 different nations – from Europa and as far away as Singapore.

The vast majority of the approximately 120,000 tickets sold by 26 November have been bought by Danish handball fans, and with Swedish fans having bought 8,000 tickets to date and Norwegian fans counting for 4,000 sales Scandinavia is likely to rule the stands at the four venues in Herning, Aarhus, Aalborg and Copenhagen.

Even though Germany did not qualify for the final tournament more than 2,500 tickets have found their way to the home of the 2007 world champions, and sales also show that France, Poland and Iceland can also count on strong support.

Apart from the home crowd tickets for the EHF EURO 2014 have been sold in these 27 countries:

Sweden, Norway, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Macedonia, Hungary, Iceland, France, Belarus, Croatia, Poland , Austria, UK, Faroe Islands, Finland, Belgium, Bulgaria, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Romania, Portugal , USA, Syria and Singapore.
