Rush on EHF EURO tickets continues
A large number of Men's EHF EURO 2014 tickets, that so far had been reserved for the respective federations participating at the final tournament, will go on sale on Thursday, 7 November at 10:00 hrs.
"We have been overwhelmed by the interest in the event, and I am therefore pleased that we are now able to give even more handball fans the possibility to experience the EHF EURO inside the arenas," says Per Bertelsen, the President of the Danish Handball Federation.
A sufficient number of tickets are still available for the preliminary round matches in Aarhus, Aalborg and Copenhagen, except for the final day of the group phase in Copenhagen (17 January) where Swedish fans will Brondby Hallen into a sea of yellow and blue, leaving only 300 empty seats remaining for that date.
In Herning's Jyske Bank Boxen, home venue for the Danish team, fans have to hurry if they want to get tickets for the EHF's flagship national team event.
For matches on 12, 16 and 18 January (the latter date is the first day of the main round) there are only another 500 tickets per day available.
For matches on 14, 20 and 22 January there are a still 2,500 tickets per day available.
For the final weekend the 14,000-capacity arena in Herning is close to a sell-out:
For the semi-finals on 24 January there are another 2,000 tickets plus an additional 1,300 standing tickets available.
It can be expected that the remaining 148 standing tickets for the final will sell within a matter of hours on Thursday.
