Organisers sought for ebt Finals 2014

Following the conclusion of the European Beach Handball Tour (ebt) Season 2012/13, the European Handball Federation is already looking ahead at next year calling for organisers for the ebt Finals which are scheduled to be held at the end of May 2014.

All applicants wishing to host the event have to submit the necessary documents to the EHF by no later than 2 December 2013.

Application is limited to the ebt organisers who staged an ebt tournament in the 2012/13 season and national federations.

The EHF Executive Committee will award the event at its meeting on 14 December 2013.

Following the beach handball philosophy, the ebt Finals are a competition that is simply structured, with easy rules, a lot of sun and high level matches based on the fair play spirit.

A beach handball education course will for referees, delegates and coaches will be held at the same time as the ebt Finals.

In the ebt Finals 2013, which were held in the Croatian city of Umag, Dutch women's team Paksoft Camelot prevailed, while Spanish Club Balonmano Playa Alcala won the men's event.
