Handball fans all over the world now have the chance of becoming a manager for their own personal VELUX EHF Champions League team. Title sponsor, the VELUX Group, has just launched the international VELUX Handball Manager game - and it’s free for all fans to join.   

When matches in this year’s VELUX EHF Champions League are played, there will be more at stake than the results in the handball arena. On the website handballenergy.com, handball fans from all over the world can now put together and manage their own VELUX EHF Champions League team – for free.  

VELUX Handball Manager is the only game of its kind to let fans buy and sell VELUX EHF Champions League players, earn points on the results of their matches, compete against each other in private or public leagues, and much more.

A chance to win exclusive prizes

By playing VELUX Handball Manager, the fans of VELUX EHF Champions League will have a chance to win one of five exclusive prizes, such as two VIP tickets for the VELUX EHF FINAL4 of the 2014/15 season

The VELUX Handball Manager competition officially begins with the third round of matches of the VELUX EHF Champions League 2013/14 Group Phase, which starts on 9 October and ends with the VELUX EHF FINAL4 tournament in May/June.

But fans can already enter the game for free today on handballenergy.com and use the first two rounds as a warm up.

€50,000,000 to spend on your favourite stars

Players will start with an imaginary budget of €50,000,000 with which they must put together the best team possible.

Real-life performances of the players they choose will be reflected in their transfer values according to the points system.

During the game, players can improve their team by buying new players.

The team with the highest value at the end wins the game.

More ways to share the excitement

Besides joining the VELUX Handball Manager game, fans are encouraged to capture their favourite moments and share the energy throughout the VELUX EHF Champions League 2013/14 by uploading their pictures and videos on twitter, instagram or youtube, using the hashtag #veluxehfcl. This way they automatically enter the competition.

At the end of the season, the best contribution will win two VIP tickets for the VELUX EHF FINAL4 of the 2014/15 season.
