Registration opens for 2014 Women's Junior World Championship Qualification Europe

The European Handball Federation invites all its member federations to register for the 2014 Women's Junior World Championship Qualification Europe.

The European qualification tournaments will be played from 18 to 20 April 2014. The deadline to submit all necessary registration documents to the EHF Office in Vienna is 4 October 2013.

The draw for the qualification groups will take place on 22 October 2013 in Vienna.

Overall there are 11 places available for European teams at the 24-nation tournament. That does not include hosts, Croatia, and Denmark, winners of the 2012 Women's Youth World Championship.

These two teams are directly qualified and so are Russia and Hungary, the teams ranked first and second at the 2013 Women's 19 EHF EURO.

This means that nine European places will be decided in the European qualification tournaments. The seeding for these tournaments will be based on the results of the 2013 Women's 19 EHF EURO.

The 2014 Women's Junior World Championship will take place from 29 June to 13 July 2014 in Croatia.
