EHF Marketing seeks sponsorship sales manager

The daughter-company and marketing arm of the EHF is looking to employ someone with a strong sales track record and experience of working within the sports industry. 

Sponsorship sales manager - job specification

International sales of sponsorship rights

Conduct sales process from identification of key prospects, to negotiations and contract signature

Develop and maintain a network of international contacts

Create sponsorship offerings and presentation material 

Contribute to long-term sales and marketing strategy 

Key experience

Sales professional with at least three years’ experience in a sales role within the sports market

Track record of successful sports sponsorship sales

Ability to influence, persuade and sell global pan-European sponsorship platforms

Ability to find new revenue streams, build relationships and negotiate at management board level

Network of contacts with international brands and potential sponsors

Experience of working in an international environment, dealing with global issues, across different cultures and languages

An interest in or understanding of handball –  a strong advantage

Key competencies

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Independent and innovative thinker

Excellent written and spoken English. Additional written/spoken European languages (especially German) extremely useful

Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
