Armenian Handball Federation fined

The EHF Court of Handball has released a decision in the case concerning the Armenian Handball Federation. The Federation withdrew from participation in the 2013 Women's 19 European Beach Handball Championship.

The Armenian Handball Federation have been fined 3,000€ for withdrawing from the competition and excluded from participating in the next Women's 19 European Beach Handball Championship.

The punishment applied is due to articles 2.5.2 and 2.5.3 of the European Younger Age Categories Championship Regulations.

An appeal to the EHF Court of Appeal may be lodged by the Federation within seven days.
