Women's EHF Champions League Group Phase has been drawn at the Gloriette, Vienna
Defending champions in group with Thüringer HC, Hypo NÖ and one qualifier
Györi Audi ETO KC will start their title defence in the Women's EHF Champions League in Group A with Thüringer HC, Hypo NÖ and a qualifier from Group 3. The draw of the Group Matches on Friday at the Gloriette in Vienna defined all four groups of this stage.
In Group B the 2012 winners Buducnost Podgorica will meet FC Midtjylland, MKS Lublin and Qualifier 2. The last year runners-up and 2011 trophy holders Larvik HK will play in Group C with the newcomers Balonmano Bera Bera, HC Podravka Vegeta and Qualifier 4 and Slovenian giant RK Krim Mercator will face Metz Handball, IK Sävehof and Qualifier 1 in Group C.
The first round of the Group Matches is scheduled for 5/6 October and only two best teams from each group will qualify for the next stage – Main Round.
