Draw procedure for EHF EURO 2016 play-off qualification matches released

The draw for the three play-off qualification matches for the EHF EURO 2016 in Poland will take place on 27 June 2013 at 15:00 hrs at the EHF Office in Vienna.

There will be a live ticker on www.eurohandball.com and also live tweets available via the EHF Media and Communications Twitter channel, @ehfmedia.

Bosnia-Herzegovina, Romania and Switzerland, the three teams ranked lowest from all seven groups of the EHF EURO 2014 Qualification Phase 2, are seeded in pot 1.

Estonia, Finland and Greece, the three group winners of the first qualification phase for the EHF EURO 2016, are seeded in pot 2.

One team of pot 1 is drawn against one team of pot 2. The team which is drawn first has home right in the first leg.

The first leg will be played on 2/3 April 2014, the second leg on 5/6 April 2014.

The winners of the play-off matches will qualify for the Men's EHF EURO 2014 Qualification Phase 2 for which round 1 will throw off on 29 October 2014.

The final tournament in Poland will take place from 17 to 31 January 2016.
