EHF EURO 2014: International ticket sales start on 1 July 2013

The international ticket sale for the Men’s EHF EURO 2014 in Denmark, the European Handball Federation’s flagship national team event, will start on 1 July 2013. Tickets can be obtained via ehf-euro.com, the tournament’s official website.

The announcement was made by the EHF together with the Danish Handball Federation on the occasion of the final tournament draw which took place at Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning, Denmark, on 21 June 2013.

The draw saw the following teams seeded in Group A, B, C and D respectively:

  • Denmark, Czech Republic, FYR Macedonia and Austria will play in Group A. The matches will take place at the 14,000-capacity Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning.
  • Spain, Iceland, Hungary and Norway will play in Group B at the 4,600-capacity Gigantium in Aalborg.
  • Serbia, France, Poland and Russia will play in Group C at the 5,000-capacity NRGi Arena in Aarhus.
  • Croatia, Sweden, Belarus and Montenegro will play in Group D at the 5,600-capacity Brondby Hallen near Copenhagen.

Jyske Bank Boxen is the biggest indoor venue in Denmark and will also host main round matches as well as the entire final round during the Men’s EHF EURO 2014. The second main round group will be played in Aarhus’ NRGi arena.

International handball fans are advised to quickly secure their tickets for this handball spectacle as demand from the host nation’s supporters has already been high. Since January 2013 Danish handball fans had the opportunity to already buy tickets for the preliminary and main round matches in Herning and the latest figures show that already 30,000 tickets have been sold.

From 1 July 2013 tickets for all tournament rounds and all venues will be available via www.ehf-euro.com, the events official website. Prices start from as low as 30 euro (standing area) and 44 euro (seats).
