Ticket fever goes on for the 2014 VELUX EHF FINAL4
7,000 tickets already sold
While the handball world still talks about HSV Hamburg's Cinderella story of last season, over 7,000 tickets for next edition of the VELUX EHF FINAL4 have already been sold.
Together with 2,000 tickets allocated for participating teams of the 2014 tournament (500 for each team) this means that almost half of the LANXESS arena capacity (20,000) has been filled less than three weeks since the official sale began.
The first tickets went on sale on the opening day of the VELUX EHF FINAL4 weekend, but only fans in the arena could secure the tickets for the next edition.
3,000 places were sold in the LANXESS arena during these two days and the ticket fever went on after the official sale had been launched, as another one thousand seats were sold within hours.
“This is the perfect proof that fans, spectators, partners and sponsors are more than enthusiastic about our event which clearly has been established as the giant season highlight of international handball,” EHF Marketing managing director Peter Vargo said commenting on the high demand for tickets more than 11 months prior the event.
