More than 5000 tickets sold for the 2014 VELUX EHF FINAL4

Just two days after HSV Hamburg lifted the VELUX EHF Champions League trophy in the sold-out LANXESS arena, EHF Marketing GmbH, the event organiser has confirmed that over 5,000 tickets have already been sold for the 2014 weekend.

The first tickets went on sale on the opening day of the VELUX EHF FINAL4 weekend, but only fans in the arena could secure the tickets for the next edition.

3,000 places were sold in the LANXESS arena during these two days.

The official sale was launched on Monday and within several hours another one thousand seats were sold. The ticket fever continued on Tuesday as the number of sold places passed 5,000 in the afternoon, which means that tickets for one quarter of the arena have already been purchased.

"This is a fantastic first interim result which shows that fans and spectators appreciate our efforts for the VELUX EHF FINAL4. It makes us proud. It goes without saying that we will continue developing the VELUX EHF FINAL4 further in order to have another fantastic event on 31 May/1 June 2014 in the LANXESS arena," said David Szlezak, VELUX EHF FINAL4 team leader.

Currently there are tickets in three price categories available: € 180 (Category 2), € 120 (Category 3) and € 650 (VIP). (All prices exclude the service charge of € 2.)
