Lots of handball fans have already secured their tickets for the 2014 VELUX EHF FINAL4

For all spectators present at the 2013 VELUX EHF FINAL4, there is an exclusive offer available for next year’s highlight in club handball (Cologne, 31 May/1 June 2014). Handball fans can purchase their tickets for the 2014 VELUX EHF FINAL4 already at the LANXESS arena on Saturday and Sunday (1/2 June 2013) – that is before the official ticket sale starts.

David Szlezak, Team Leader VELUX EHF FINAL4 explained: “Giving the supporters here in Cologne at the 2013 VELUX EHF FINAL4 the opportunity to buy tickets for next year is our thank you to them for coming this year.”

Most of the supporters who have secured their tickets today have already been at the event four times and want to be present next year.

Stefan Dahs and Myriam Käsch from Königswinter (Germany) are old hands. They are at the VELUX EHF FINAL4  for the fourth time and are looking forward to next year, "We bought the tickets so early to make sure we'll have good seats next year, like every year."

Heinrich and Eva Back from Göppingen (Germany); "We really like it here. The party yesterday was great. And next year we want to be present again."

Ralf Nickels from Kiel mentioned he has come to Cologne for the VELUX EHF FINAL4 since 2010 and he has already bought tickets for next year.

A group of Danish spectators will also return to Cologne next year, ”Some of us are here for the fourth time, some of us for the first time. We'll keep our fingers crossed for THW Kiel, but we like Barcelona as well."

During the first match between KS Vive Targi Kielce and FC Barcelona Intersport, HSV Hamburg fan Felix was lucky enough to catch a match ball allowing him to exchange it for some of the first tickets for 2014.

Szlezak was also excited about the ticket sales ahead of next year. “I was already very impressed last year when I learnt that we had spectators from Canada and USA.”

Oleg Udarchik, who will be travelling from Canada in 2014, has already enquired about his tickets and is set to come to Cologne for the big handball festival next year.

“Thanks to the organisers for their hard work and dedication,” he said. “I was excited to learn that I still have a chance to experience the biggest club handball event - I am really looking forward to coming to Cologne next year.”
