Damgaard Nielsen banned for one match

The EHF Court of Handball has reached a decision following disciplinary proceedings against the player Michael Damgaard Nielsen from Team Tvis Holstebro.

The player received a direct disqualification in the 59th minute in the second leg of the Men’s EHF Cup Quarter-finals Team Tvis Holstebro vs. KIF Kolding, which took place in Denmark on 28 April 2013.

He will be sanctioned with an one match suspension based on the EHF List of Penalties and will therefore not be entitled to play in the match Team Tvis Holstebro vs. HBC Nantes taking place in Nantes on Saturday, 18 May 2013.

An appeal to the EHF Court of Appeal shall not have any suspensive effects.
