Tour Bretagne in Nantes will host the EHF Cup Finals draw, while the Men's Challenge Cup Final draw will be carried out at the EHF Office in Vienna
Two draws on Tuesday
Last April Tuesday will mark this season's last draw date of two European club competitions as Tour Bretagne in Nantes will play host to the draw of the EHF Cup Finals at 11:00 hrs local time and the draw of the Challenge Cup Final will take place at the same time at the EHF Office in Vienna.
Nantes will see how both semi-finals pairings of the EHF Cup Finals will be defined. The French city will also host to the final weekend on 18 and 19 May. Four best teams of the newly formatted competition, merged from the old EHF Cup and the Cup Winners' Cup, have made it to the prestigious tournament.
Three countries will be represented at the final event as Germany will have two teams thanks to Rhein Neckar Löwen and Frisch Auf Göppingen, while each Denmark and France will have one side as Team Tvis Holstebro, respectively the hosts HBC Nantes qualified for the tournament.
All teams will be seeded in the same pot before the draw. The winners of the semi-finals will meet in the final and both losers will enter the consolation match for the third place.
Parallel to the EHF Cup Finals draw in Nantes also the draw of the home right for the Men’s Challenge Cup Final will be carried out as both SKA Minsk from Belarus and Handball Esch from Luxembourg will try to get their names of the winner's list and succeed last season's trophy holders AC Diomidis Argous.
The first leg of the final will be played on 18/19 May, the second leg will follow one week later.
