'It is important for us to stay unbeaten,' says Zorman

The Polish champions, Vive Targi Kielce want to keep their 100% record in the VELUX EHF Champions League Group Phase on Saturday 23 February, when they visit Velenje for the last ehfTV.com Match of the Week in this stage.

Vive Targi Kielce centre back Uroš Zorman, returns to his homeland to play against his national team colleagues.

Zorman speaks to ehfCL.com about the upcoming challenge, the last 16, and his future in the national team.

ehfCL.com: When was the last time you played in Slovenia?

Uroš Zorman: I last played in my homeland last year. Our team faced RK Cimos Koper, unfortunately we lost and were knocked out of the Champions League. I hope that this time will be different.

ehfCL.com: Are you still in contact with your teammates at Gorenje?

Uroš Zorman: Yeah, of course we are still in contact, they are my friends. But we don't talk about the match.

ehfCL.com: Will you give some tips how to play against the Slovenian team?

Uroš Zorman: No, because I don't have to do it. We can see all on the video, which is prepared very well for us by our staff. I can't add more to this.

ehfCL.com: Kielce won the first leg in Poland. Which result do you expect in the match?

Uroš Zorman: We want to win this match, it is very important for us to stay unbeaten in the group and end this phase with a 100% record.

ehfCL.com: How important is it to finish first in the group?

Uroš Zorman: It gives a great opportunity to us, because we will be playing the second leg of the last 16 at home. It is important that you can mount a comeback at home if you lose first leg.

ehfCL.com: Who do you wish to play in the last 16?

Uroš Zorman: It doesn’t matter which team we will face. We have to focus on our play and of course try to win these matches.

ehfCL.com: You were part of the Slovenian National Team in Spain, where the team were a dark horse and took fourth place. How was the competition for you?

Uroš Zorman: It was great competition for my team. We didn't win a medal, but we did a good job in Spain. We can be proud of our performance.

ehfCL.com: How do you see your future in the national team?

Uroš Zorman: Honestly, I don't know. I want to help my national team as long as my body allows me to play at a high level, so we will see.
