Christophersen will miss next Füchse matches

Bad news for Füchse Berlin: The Germans will miss their left back Sven-Sören Christophersen in the upcoming matches. The German international was injured without getting touched by an opponent in their past VELUX EHF Champions League match at Zagreb (25:24 for Berlin).

The diagnosis on Monday was tough for the 2012 VELUX EHF FINAL4 participant: rupture of an exterior ligament and a meniscus damage. Christophersen will be out at least for week and so will miss the last VELUX EHF Champions League match in this year at Dinamo Minsk on Sunday.

Christophersen is the second German Füchse international after Markus Riechwien who is out for a longer term. Thanks to their victory at the Croatian capital Füchse had qualified already after six rounds for the Last 16 on Saturday.
