Women´s Cup Winners´ Cup Last 16 pairings

The draw of the Women’s Cup Winners´ Cup Last 16 took place at the EHF headquarters in Vienna on Tuesday, 20 November 2012. Eight seeded teams from Pot 1 were drawn against other eight from Pot 2. The draw was carried out by the representative of HC Podravka Vegeta Yerka Vresk.

The first leg of Last 16 will be played 2/3 February and the second leg one week later.

Last season´s semi-finalists HC Leipzig from Germany will meet Norwegian runners-up Byåsen Trondheim.

Vresk has also drawn her team of Croatian champions against Hungarian side Váci NKSE, Russian champions Dinamo Volgograd will play against Serbian title holders RK Zaječar, another Russian side Rostov Don will face Team Esbjerg from Denmark and Polish champions Vistal Łączpol Gdynia will meet Spanish outfit Balonmano Bera Bera.

Norwegian side Stabaek Handball will play against the Wild card tournament of the Women´s EHF Champions League participant Issy Paris Hand, record champions of Austria from Hypo NÖ against TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen from Germany and Macedonian champions WHC Metalurg against German title holders Thüringer HC.
