Teams can replace two players after the Preliminary Round and one player after the Main Round
Official squad lists for EHF EURO 2012 released
The European Handball Federation has released the official squad lists as announced by the national federations, naming a maximum of 28 players as their basis group for selecting the team participating at the 2012 Women's EHF European Championship from 4 to 16 December in Serbia.
This contingent of 28 players is the final squad of players of each of the 16 participating nations.
A maximum of 16 players from the original 28 will be announced at the first technical meeting one day before the start of the tournament.
The use of an 'Official Squad' of each delegation allows the participating nations to replace a maximum of three players throughout the entire tournament.
This option eases the pressure for the participants especially in the case of injury.
The overview of all 16 squad lists can be downloaded here.
Seperate lists for each team can be downloaded as part of the team presentation on the dedicated EHF EURO 2012 website.
The participating nations at the EHF EURO 2012 in Serbia are:
Group A in Belgrade: Norway, Ukraine, Serbia, Czech Republic
Group B in Nis: Sweden, France, Denmark, Fyr Macedonia
Group C in Novi Sad: Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Spain
