Serbia versus Russia live on ehfTV

The EHF EURO 2014 qualification match between Serbia and Russia (31 October, 20:30 hrs. CET) is the sixth qualifier that will be streamed live on the European Handball Federation's online TV platform, ehfTV.com.

The EHF had announced on Thursday that for the first time qualification matches for the 2014 Men’s EHF European Championship, the European Handball Federation’s flagship event, will be streamed live on ehfTV.com

In a new approach to extend the coverage of handball and make European national team matches available to a worldwide audience, a dedicated EHF National Teams Channel has been newly created.

In the future, the new project is planned to be extended and qualification matches from upcoming qualification rounds in 2013 will also be streamed on ehfTV.com

Already every game from the VELUX EHF Champions League and the Women’s EHF Champions League is available on the EHF’s dedicated online TV platform.

The five matches that had already been chosen for the national team premiere feature some of the best teams in European handball, including 2007 world champions, Germany, 2009 World Championship bronze medallists, Poland, and 2011 World Championship bronze medallists, Spain.

This illustrous selection has now been joined by 2012 European vice champions Serbia.

The list of matches to be shown live at ehfTV.com is as follows:

Poland vs Netherlands on Wednesday, 31 October, at 18:00 hrs. CET

Serbia vs Russia, 31 October, at 20:30 hrs. CET

Spain vs Portugal on Thursday, 1 November, at 12:30 hrs. CET

Germany vs Montenegro, 1 November, at 19:00 hrs. CET

Switzerland vs Spain, 4 November, 16:00 hrs. CET

Israel vs Germany, 4 November, 18:45 hrs. CET

The schedule is correct as of 26 October 2012. All matches will be available on demand afterwards. Geo-blocking might apply in certain markets.

This is the second stage of the qualification for the Men’s EHF EURO 2014. The EHF’s flagship event will take place in Denmark from 12 to 26 January 2014. More info on www.ehf-euro.com.
