UNSTABLE SURFACES

These videos are focusing on different basic elements for improving motor performance and therefore it is split into three chapters.

FUN PARK

Alex Acsinte demonstrates an awful lot of different drills by using unstable devices. These drills are dedicated to improve balance, proprioception and coordination all in a playful manner. It has to be seen as a collection of drills from which some should be picked for every respective training session.

Besides the unstable devices a variety of different kinds of balls are used to improve catching and throwing by adaptation to ever changing challenge.

All the devices used in this part are taken from the trial program a partner company of the EHF.

DOUBLE SLACK LINE – SLING TRAINING

Erwin Reiterer puts his focus on core stability and presents two different forms of approach.

He does a catalogue of drills on either subject thus offering additional elements to the regular warm-up or the circuit training.

There is more information available on SLING TRAINING in the web and in the documentation of the EHF YOUTH COACHING COURSE 2009 at Györ/HUN.

REHABILITATION

Marco De Angelis gives a comprehensive overview of small but vital drills that should be used for rehabilitation on one hand but for preparation on the other hand as well. These drills display the T2 device of trial and show how to work intensively on top level in an extreme limited environment in terms of space, time and devices. A sample of the drills should become some daily routine for every athlete in order to prevent injuries by improving proprioception within a few minutes work.
